St. Pete Scorer, St. Pete Scorer for Opti's and St. Pete Scorer for Lasers are sold "As Is". It is recognized that perfection is hardly possible and that almost all software contains errors. Although an effort has been made to permit the programs to score One-Design sailboat regattas, we cannot assure that any of these programs will suit your purpose. It is the duty of the user to assure himself that the program runs properly on his/her computer using the "Trial Version", prior to any payment. It is the duty of the scorekeeper to inform himself/herself as to the use of the features of the program and to verify the accuracy of the results.

The author will give reasonable help by e-mail to registered users of the program, but there may well be periods of weeks or months when he is unavailable. There are detailed "Help" notes as well as a printable "Instruction Book", included with each program.

In no case will there be any restitution greater than refund of money paid.

Payment is made through "Reg.net", a secure, reputable, well established payment service. Within 24 hours after payment is received, and usually sooner, Reg..net will send you two e-mails. One confirms your purchase, the second contains instructions to download the permanent program. This version is different from the trial version. You will be able to download the installation program for the next three days only. If you have installed the trial version, be sure to delete it using the "Add/Remove Programs" function in the Control Panel. Also delete the installation program for that program. It would be named "SPS.exe", "SPSO.exe" or "SPSL.exe". The new installation program will have trailing numbers in its name, the trial version does not. If you have difficulty receiving the Reg.net e-mails or difficulty downloading the program, contact Reg.Net, explaining the problem.

Once the installation program has been downloaded, find the download file in Windows Explorer and double-click it. Follow the on-screen instructions.

St. Pete Scorer for Lasers permits scoring of Laser Masters races as well as Laser races without handicaps. . St. Pete Scorer is recommended rather than St. Pete Scorer for Lasers unless you plan to score Laser Masters races. St. Pete Scorer is a more robust program; it scores non-handicap Laser races very well.
